The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. It will be the first World Cup to feature 48 national teams (expanded from 32) and the first hosted by three countries. The tournament format features 12 groups of 4 teams, with the top two from each group plus the 8 best third-placed teams advancing to a 32-team knockout stage.
