About Nelson Veríssimo
Nelson Veríssimo is a 49-year-old Portuguese football manager. He belongs to a new wave of modern coaches, a period defined by the tactical evolution of the modern game. He currently manages Benfica II, where he is responsible for tactical decisions, match preparation and dressing-room management. Earlier in his career he also managed Benfica, Estoril and Benfica U21, gaining experience across different competitive contexts.
