About Tarek El Ashri
Tarek El Ashri is a 61-year-old Egyptian football manager. He belongs to the experienced generation of European managers, a period defined by the tactical evolution of the modern game. He currently manages Pharco, where he is responsible for tactical decisions, match preparation and dressing-room management. Earlier in his career he also managed Al Ittihad, El Geish and Ismaily, gaining experience across different competitive contexts. He is regarded as one of the most influential modern coaches to have come from Egypt.
