About Somchai Makmool
Somchai Makmool is a 46-year-old football manager from Thailand. He belongs to a new wave of modern coaches, a period defined by the tactical evolution of the modern game. He currently manages Mahanakon Khon Kaen, where he is responsible for tactical decisions, match preparation and dressing-room management. Earlier in his career he also managed Muangkan United, gaining experience across different competitive contexts. He is regarded as one of the most influential modern coaches to have come from Thailand.
