About Oleksandr Baranov
Oleksandr Baranov is a 66-year-old Ukrainian football manager. He belongs to the veteran school of managers, a period defined by the tactical evolution of the modern game. He currently manages Viikingit, where he is responsible for tactical decisions, match preparation and dressing-room management. Earlier in his career he also managed I-Kissat, gaining experience across different competitive contexts. He is regarded as one of the most influential modern coaches to have come from Ukraine.
