About Heiko Butscher
Heiko Butscher is a 45-year-old German football manager. He belongs to a new wave of modern coaches, a period defined by the tactical evolution of the modern game. He currently manages VfL Bochum 1848, where he is responsible for tactical decisions, match preparation and dressing-room management. Earlier in his career he also managed Bochum II, gaining experience across different competitive contexts. His work has helped cement the reputation of German football on the international stage.
