About Geir Bakke
Geir Bakke is a 56-year-old Norwegian football manager. He belongs to the experienced generation of European managers, a period defined by the tactical evolution of the modern game. He currently manages Vålerenga, where he is responsible for tactical decisions, match preparation and dressing-room management. Earlier in his career he also managed Lillestrøm, gaining experience across different competitive contexts. He is regarded as one of the most influential modern coaches to have come from Norway.
